Straight answers. No fine print.
What courses ask us most — about price, cards, hardware, data and support.
Pricing & contracts
How much does it cost?
One monthly price for your course, with every module included: tee sheet, pro shop, grill and bar, memberships, events, tournaments, marketing and reports. Every course is set up differently, so we quote each one. Tell us what you run and we will send you a single number.
Are there per-register or per-tablet fees?
No. Run as many pro shop registers, beverage cart tablets and restaurant tablets as you need. Adding a station never adds to your bill.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Unless your order form sets a longer term, your subscription is month to month. You can cancel any time by email, and you keep full access until the end of the month you have paid for.
What is the Founding Course Program?
During early access we are taking on a limited number of founding courses. A founding course gets every module at one monthly price, keeps that price for as long as it stays subscribed, has a direct line to our development team, and gets a say in what we build next.
What does "early access" mean for my course?
New features arrive often, and some may change as we improve them. A founding price you lock in during early access stays the same after early access ends.
Card processing
Which card processors does it work with?
Helcim, Square and Stripe. You open your own merchant account with the processor you choose.
Do you take a cut of my card sales?
No. Card payments go from your customer, through your processor, straight to your bank. Your processor charges its own fees under your agreement with them; we never touch or hold the money.
Does card data pass through your servers?
No. Card numbers are entered into your processor's secure fields or card terminals and are never stored on our servers.
Setup & hardware
Do I need special hardware?
Not usually. Any up-to-date web browser runs it, on Android or Apple tablets and phones, Windows or Mac computers. For the counter, a standard network receipt printer and a cash drawer that plugs into it are all you need. Common choices are the Epson TM-m30III or Star TSP143IV printer with an APG Vasario printer-driven cash drawer. Card readers come from your own processor (Helcim, Square or Stripe).
How long does setup take? Is there a setup fee?
There is no setup fee. A course can be up and running in as little as two to three weeks. The biggest factor is how quickly we get what we need from you: your settings, inventory and pricing plans. If you do not have a merchant account with Helcim, Square or Stripe yet, you will open one during setup as well. We train your staff before you go live, and the time that takes, which depends on how many people and stations you have, can add to the timeline.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The tee sheet and pro shop keep working, and so do beverage carts that ring up through the pro shop. Bookings, check-ins and cash or comp sales are saved on the device and sync on their own when you are back online. If you turn it on, house account charges keep working too, up to a per-charge limit you set. Card payments need a connection.
What about beverage carts with weak signal?
The cart tablet is built for it. A cash sale waits on the tablet until it gets through, pressing a button twice never rings a sale twice, and a card sale is confirmed with the card company even if the tablet loses signal mid-sale.
Can I bring my data over from my current system?
Yes, most likely. The platform is already built to bring data over from Lightspeed, and other systems can usually be moved too. Tell us what you use today and we will work out the move with you.
Running the course
Does it work with GolfNow and TeeOff?
Yes. Bookings made on GolfNow and TeeOff land on your tee sheet automatically, marked with where they came from.
Are digital cart waivers included?
Yes. Golfers sign on the customer display at the counter, and each waiver is tied to the booking and the cart. It is part of the system, not a monthly add-on.
Does it handle memberships and member charges?
Yes. Individual and family plans billed monthly, quarterly or annually, cards on file with auto-renew, member rates applied everywhere, and house accounts with statements.
Can it run tournaments?
Yes. Rosters, pairings, teams, side games, mobile scoring, leaderboards, prizes and payouts, with GHIN handicap lookup.
Can you host our course website?
Yes. We host course websites with tee-time booking built in, wired straight to your tee sheet. Designing and building a brand-new site is quoted separately.
We are not a golf course. Can we still use it?
Yes. The restaurant, retail and events tools work on their own for restaurants, bars, retail shops and event venues.
Your data
Who owns our data?
You do. We use it only to run, secure and support the platform for you. We never sell it or use it to market to your customers.
Can we get our data out?
Yes. You can export your data any time while you are subscribed, and for 30 days after your subscription ends.
How is it kept safe?
Every connection is encrypted with HTTPS, staff passwords and point-of-sale PINs are one-way hashed, each person gets only the access you give them, and your data is backed up regularly.
Support
Who answers when we need help?
The people who built the system, including a golf professional who knows how a pro shop and tee sheet really run. No overseas call center and no ticket queue.
How do we reach you?
Existing customers email support@nurples.com. For a demo or a quote, email sales@nurples.com or use the form below.
Who is behind Nurples Platform?
Nurples Network LLC, based in Gautier, Mississippi. Every feature was built and tested alongside a working golf course and restaurant on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
